Writing a Memoir Proposal Sucks!

Writing a proposal for a memoir has got to be the most difficult thing I've written. It's trying to condense a compelling chunk of your life into a few pages. Hell, if I could have done that I wouldn't have written an entire book about it. But, this is what many agents want, because if you're not already famous/infamous, it's really hard to publish a memoir. A proposal is supposed to provide some evidence that you are "sellable." So, I've finished it and off it will go to more agents. Fingers crossed.
